I’m Dr. Ali.

Doctor of Physical Therapy. Personal Trainer. Nutrition Coach.

When I’m not reading Harry Potter, at Disney (or wishing I was), hanging with my dog & husband, or crocheting amigurumi, I’m helping runners train for their next runDisney race to cross the finish line healthy, strong and confident.

As a coach with 12+ years in the rehab space, I’m an expert in running injuries and I’ve taken my clients all the way from barely able to run a few minutes because of an injury to being happy, motivated and running magical races.

I’m not going to tell you “you just need to do more.” More isn’t always better.

Instead, I’ll give you specifics on what you need to finish your race.

Finisher.™ is designed for runners who are injury-prone, slower-paced, back-of-the-pack, or feel like they’re “not really runners yet.” It’s especially helpful if you've followed training plans before and still ended up in pain, walking more than you wanted, or questioning if your body can handle the Dopey Challenge.

  • No problem! The program is also ideal if you're doing the Marathon or Goofy Challenge — or if you're planning to do multiple runDisney race weekends across the runDisney season. You'll get coaching and strategy to help your body stay strong all the way through.

  • Yes, you can absolutely join! You’ll get support for those races too — and I’ll help you balance your fall race goals with your January race goals, so you’re not overtraining, burning out, or risking injury.

  • If you’ve recently had surgery or aren’t yet cleared to run, this round of Stronger. Faster. Finisher. isn’t the right fit.
    If you're signed up for a race but not yet cleared to train, working together 1-on-1 would be more appropriate so I can build a custom rehab-to-race plan tailored to your recovery.

  • This isn’t just a plan — it’s a coaching experience. You’ll get:

    • Customized guidance for your pace and injuries

    • Smarter mileage progression

    • Built-in strength and recovery strategies

    • Real-time support from me and your coaching group

  • You’re not kicked out or left behind. I build in flexibility, deload weeks, and backup strategies — because life gets lifey, and this plan is built to help real people cross the finish line strong, not perfect.

  • You’ll have regular access to me through group coaching calls and direct messaging (DMs). Whether it’s a quick question about pacing or a deeper issue like injury or gear, I’m here to support you throughout the season.
